- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Asda South Shields is based not far from King Street. It has easy access by bus and a pay & display car park. Good: Large range of items Cafe Toilets Electronics and gaming section Asda George Asda Pharmacy Open (almost) 24 hours Bad: Prices go up before a rollback, therefore you think you are getting a deal when you aren't. Prices do not make any sense, a pack of 4 beans was £2 and yet a pack of 6 was also £2, neither were on rollback, see above as to why. They keep moving things around, just keep them where they are. Staff are scarce, when I find one, they are always busy. Conclusion: 7/10 Whilst I do recommend Asda, there are parts that really frustrate me, items in the wrong place, prices going up before rollbacks.
